INDIANAPOLIS -- Church Extension, a financial unit of the
Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), has promoted a
communication staff member as part of a move to expand its
World Wide Web presence.

Deborah J. Williams, Indianapolis, has served nearly a
decade in Disciples publishing roles in Church Extension
and with The Disciple magazine. Her new position is manager
of print and online communications for Church Extension.

Williams' new responsibilities will include managing the
entire production process of all print materials as well as
designing and managing the Web sites for Church Extension
and New Church Ministry.

"Debbie has kept Church Extension on the cutting edge in
desktop publishing for a number of years," said Erick D.
Reisinger, executive vice president and treasurer at Church
Extension. "Bringing her onto the management team and
expanding her responsibilities is a natural step as we
reach out in an information age."

Williams holds a bachelor's of science degree in business
administration from Indiana University at Indianapolis,
with a major in marketing.

Williams and her husband Mike Williams are natives of
Indianapolis.
