Taiwanese Language Summer Camp for High School Students
The Taiwanese Romanization Association will lead a summer
conference for high school students from July 5-9 in Hsin Chu.
Focus will be on helping participants to learn their mother
tongue
and understand Taiwan's culture.  Prominent scholars will offer
lectures and workshops. Several universities and cultural
foundations are co-sponsoring the event.  Only 30 students will
be accepted for the program.

Mission Internship Partners to work in England
The United Reformed Church in the UK invites applications
from Taiwan for co workers in a mission trial program in Norwich.

Clergy and laity are invited to submit applications.  The project

aims at revitalization of urban church life by inclusion of
persons
not associated with churches.
Persons accepted into the program will begin service in England
in the Autumn.  Applications are due by the end of May.  The
Evangelism Committee at the General Assembly of the
Presbyterian Church in Taiwan will screen local applicants.

Tainan School Girls Enter World Vision Project
Students from several high schools in Tainan gathered on
April 20th at Tainan First Girls' High School to enlist in the
program to rebuild the Sayfee Girl's High School in Kabul,
Afghanistan.  They called on all Tainan residents to support
the cause of girls' education.

Tunghai University Chaplain's Office seeking Contract Staff
Seeking a Christian who has small group leading of participation
experience, is computer literate, and holds a college degree.
Applicants with theological training will be considered first.
The contract period is for one year commencing on 1st August.
