COLUMBUS, OH - A host of moderators of past Presbyterian Church (USA) assemblies delivered short narratives of their recent activities during the traditional ex-moderators' dinner on Sunday, June 16.

Those who attended the event, sponsored by the Presbyterian Foundation, heard from Jack Rogers (2001); Syngman Rhee ('00); Pat Brown (1997); John Buchanan ('96); Marj Carpenter ('95); Bob Bohl ('94); David Dobler ('92); Herb Valentine ('91); Price Gwynne ('90); Ken Hall ('88); Dottie Barnard ('81); Charles Hammond ('80); Sara B. Moseley ('78) and Clinton Marsh ('85).

Phil Young, a former synod executive, acted as master of ceremonies. A special memorial moment honored the late J. Randolph Taylor, who was the first moderator after the 1983 reunion of United Presbyterian Church (USA) and Presbyterian Church in the United States.

Other moderators who are on hand for the assembly but missed the dinner included Isabel Rogers ('87) and Freda Gardner ('99).
