More than 3,000 women traveled to Louisville, Ky., to 
participate in the 12th Quadrennial Assembly for Women.
This year marked 
the first time in its 45 year history that the Christian
Church (Disciples 
of Christ) event was held somewhere other than the Purdue
University campus in Lafayette, Ind. Disciples women,
international guests representing 18 countries, and
ecumenical guests gathered to be "Reshaped, Renewed and
Unleashed" as women of God.
