American Baptist News Service (9/16/02)--The annual resource packet produced
by National Ministries for American Baptist Men's Sunday is now available
online at the ABMen's Web site.  This year's materials reflect the current
theme of American Baptist Men's Ministries, "Masculine Spirituality With A
Mission" (based on 2 Timothy 2:1-2), and include sermon starters, prayers,
hymns, illustrations and helpful Web sites. 

Observing American Baptist Men's Sunday offers congregations an opportunity
to affirm their ministry with men and boys. Many churches will observe
ABMen's Sunday on Oct. 13.  The ABMen's Sunday Packet is not dated, however,
so the resource can be used on a Sunday that suits local church calendars.

Those who cannot access the Web may order a free printed copy of the packet
by calling 1-800-ABC-3USA/x2464. Special ABMen's Sunday bulletins also are
available for $5.95 per hundred and may be ordered either on the Web or by
