American Baptist News Service (10/7/02)--Dr. Sumner M. Grant, executive
director of The Ministers and Missionaries Benefit Board (MMBB), has
announced the promotion of the Rev. Dr. Perry J. Hopper to associate
executive director.
  
Hopper, who has been with MMBB since 1987, will continue to oversee the work
of MMBB's office at the American Baptist Churches Mission Center here and
serve as member service representative for ABCUSA Mission Center staff and
the Philadelphia Baptist Association.  Hopper also serves as MMBB's
relationship manager with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
