Hungarian Choir To Sing in Taiwan

   The Debrecen-Kantus Choir, from the University associated with
the Reformed Church in Hungary, will give a series of concerts in
Taiwan from October 31 through November 4th.  The choir is
touring Taiwan on their way home from a choir festival in Korea
late this month.
   Sacred music, no matter whether in the classical or the
contemporary idiom, is a universal language of beautiful praise.
The choir has received prizes at international festivals held in
Europe.
   The tour is sponsored by the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan.
Performances are scheduled for Shuang-lien Presbyterian Church in
Taipei on October 31, Chang Jung Christian University in Tainan
County on November 1st, Hsin Chu Presbyterian Church on November
2, Taoyuan at noon on the 3rd, Keelung in the evening of the 3rd,
and Hualien on the 4th.  Admission is free, but an offering will
be received to defer the expenses.
