Green to Serve as MMBB Affirmative Action Officer

American Baptist News Service (Valley Forge, Pa. 11/20/02)--Dr. Sumner M.
Grant, executive director of The Ministers and Missionaries Benefit Board
(MMBB), has appointed Winona A. Green to the position of affirmative action
officer, effective Nov. 8, 2002.  She also will begin serving on MMBB's
Management Team.  Green's new responsibilities are in addition to her
current role as MMBB's relationship manager with its record keeper, Mellon
HR Solutions, and coordinator of the Retired Ministers and Missionaries
Offering (RMMO).

Green joined MMBB's staff in January 1997 as a finance/operations specialist
with responsibilities that included the administration of member loans and
the coordination of the RMMO.  Prior to joining MMBB's staff Green was a
director in the International Business Unit of AT&T Capital Corporation.
