NATIONAL CITY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS 
FOR YOUNG ADULT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
National City Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Washington,
D.C., is now accepting applications from young adults, 21 to 29, to
devote themselves to a year of service, community life, simple living,
and spiritual formation in our nation's capital. The inaugural year of
Gethsemane Mission Year will begin August 27, 2003.

Holy Week is the perfect opportunity to unveil Gethsemane Mission Year.
After all, Gethsemane is where Jesus challenged his disciples to be
faithful to him. Gethsemane is where we commit to God's will even when
it comes at great cost to us.

In addition to a year of service and spiritual formation, other
benefits include free housing, food and local transportation allowances,
medical insurance, and student loans deferred. Gethsemane Mission Year
welcomes applications from persons 21 to 29, who are single, mature,
stable and

NBA ECHO FOUNDERS' DAY BANQUET
There will not be a dry eye in the house when Orvin Kimbrough,
executive director of Faith Beyond Walls, steps away from the
microphone, according to organizers of the NBA ECHO Emergency Children's
Home Founders' Day Banquet taking place May 3 at the Millennium Hotel in
St. Louis.
