Executive Council members elected

[ENS] Ten new members were elected for six-year terms of leadership on
the Executive Council. As such they will carry out the programs and
policies adopted by the General Convention and have charge of the
coordination, development and implementation of the mission and ministry
of the church.

Six laity and two clergy were elected by the House of Deputies. Elected
in the lay order were R.P.M. Bowden, Sr., Diocese of Atlanta; Dorothy J.
Fuller, Diocese of El Camino Real; Thomas R. Gossen, Diocese of Kansas;
Josephine H. Hicks, Diocese of North Carolina; Sandra F. McPhee, Diocese
of Chicago; and Albert T. Mollegen, Jr., Diocese of Connecticut.

Elected in the clerical order by the House of Deputies were the Very
Rev. Dr. Titus L. Presler, Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest, and the
Rev. Edward W. Rodman, Episcopal Divinity School.

Two bishops elected for six-year terms by the House of Bishops were the
Rt. Rev. Wilfrido Ramos-Orench, Diocese of Connecticut, and the Rt. Rev.
Stacy F. Sauls, Diocese of Lexington.
