	The Rev. David Jenkins will retire after 13 years of dedicated
service with the Medical Benevolence Foundation, a validated mission support
group that works closely with the Presbyterian Church (USA)'s Worldwide
Ministries Division to support medical mission work around the world.

	Jenkins' last day in the office will be Oct. 10. he and his wife will
be honored at a dinner Oct. 17 in Louisville.

	Ann Mills, a Presbyterian elder and Commissioned Lay Pastor in
Paducah, KY, joined the Ministry on the River (MOR) staff as coordinator of
special projects on Sept. 22. She staffs the MOR's office at the New
York-based Seamen's Church Institute's Center for Maritime Education in
Paducah.

	Ministry on the River, an ecumenical program begun by the institute
in 1998, provides pastoral care to America's inland mariners and their
families along 2,200 miles of waterways from Pittsburgh to Houston.

	Mills is an elder at First Presbyterian Church in Paducah and serves
as lay pastor for United Central Presbyterian Church in Paducah and Trenton
(KY) Presbyterian Church. She will coordinate MOR projects such as Mariner
Sundays, Christmas?on?the?River, and the Pass?It?On program that collected
and distributed over 20,000 books, newspapers, videos, and newsletters to
mariners last year.

	On Oct. 5, Erin Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, TN, will honor
Marjorie Swanner for 80 years of continuous love, devotion and ministry.
Swanner joined the congregation in 1913 at the age of 10.

	During her 80 non-stop years at Erin Church, Swanner has served as an
elder, deacon, Sunday school teacher and leader in Presbyterian Women.
