LEADERSHIP FELLOW ESTABLISHED TO HONOR RICHARD L. HAMM
In honor of The Rev. Richard L. Hamm's 10 years of remarkable leadership 
for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the "Richard Hamm Leader 
Fellow" scholarship has been established to recognize an undergraduate 
student committed to providing leadership for the church. The annual 
scholarship will be coordinated through the Division of Higher Education's 
Leadership Fellows Program. Demonstrate your gratitude to Dr. Hamm by 
recognizing the church's future leadership through a donation to the

GLOBAL MINISTRIES NAMES INTERNATIONAL AWARDS OF AFFIRMATION
Global Ministries will honor six recipients with International Awards of 
Affirmation at the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) General Assembly 
in Charlotte, NC. The awards will be presented on Saturday, Oct. 18, at the 
Global Ministries International Dinner.  The awards are conferred every two 
years to individuals, churches and institutions around the world engaged in 
prophetic ministries in which even their own lives may be at risk.  To

THANKSGIVING SPECIAL OFFERING MATERIALS AVAILABLE ONLINE
The Thanksgiving Offering, themed appropriately, "Faces of the Future," now 
goes to help support leader development through colleges, universities and 
theological institutions related to the Christian Church (Disciples of 
Christ). The Thanksgiving Special Offering will be received Oct. 5 and 12 
(in Canada) and November 16 and 23, 2003 (in USA). To see electronic

INTRODUCING A 'LEGACY OF LEADERSHIP'
Five individuals have provided a legacy of leadership for the Christian 
Church (Disciples of Christ) in the role of General Minister and President. 
A filmed tribute has been created by the Christian Church in Florida and
