JAMES TO JOIN OGMP AND NATIONAL CONVOCATION
The Rev. Timothy James from Fifth Christian Church in Cleveland, Ohio will 
assume the role of Associate General Minister and Administrative Secretary 
of the National Convocation on January 1, 2004. James was elected during 
the Administrative Committee's General Assembly meeting, Oct. 17. Read the

LEXINGTON SEMINARY RECEIVES LARGEST GIFT IN SCHOOL'S HISTORY
LEXINGTON, KY -- Lexington Theological Seminary President R. Robert Cueni 
announced recently that the Seminary had received the largest single 
financial gift in its138-year history, a $1.2 million anonymous gift to 
establish The Donald and Lillian Nunnelly Chair in the Practice of 
Ministry. The announcement was made during a Seminary sponsored alumni/ae

In honor of The Rev. Richard L. Hamm's 10 years of remarkable leadership 
for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the "Richard Hamm Leader 
Fellow" scholarship has been established to recognize an undergraduate 
student committed to providing leadership for the church. The annual 
scholarship will be coordinated through the Division of Higher Education's
