American Baptist News Service (Valley Forge, Pa. 2/26/04)--Among the new
books recently released by Judson Press, The Gospel According to Dr. Seuss:
Snitches, Sneetches, and Other Creachas is receiving national exposure by
major book retailers across the U.S.

Within a week of its release more than 5,000 copies of The Gospel According
to Dr. Seuss were shipped to bookstores and distributors around the country.
According to Judson Press Associate Publisher Linda Peavy, between Feb. 25
and March 9 the book will be prominently displayed on the front tables in
Barnes and Noble bookstores throughout the country--a first for Judson Press.
The book also is available at Waldenbooks, Borders, Family Christian Books
and other bookstores.

In The Gospel According to Dr. Seuss, author James W. Kemp, a United
Methodist pastor, takes a close look at some Dr. Seuss stories and finds that
many are inspirational as well as entertaining. An article on Kemp and the
book will appear in the Spring 2004 issue of American Baptists In Mission,
the quarterly feature magazine of American Baptist Churches USA.

Another new release from Judson Press, The Real Deal: A Spiritual Guide for
Black Teen Girls by Billie Montgomery Cook, candidly addresses various issues
facing African American teens whose desire is to grow in Christ. Body image,
self-respect, fear, discipline, sexuality and friendship are among the topics
covered within the context of a developing Christian faith.
