American Baptist News Service (Valley Forge, Pa. 4/27/04)--The Ministers
Council of American Baptist Churches USA invites American Baptists to express
appreciation for their ministerial leader by nominating him or her for a 2004
Clergy Wellness Grant of $300.	Nominations should be in the form of a
one-page letter describing the benefits such a grant would bring to the
ministerial leader and why he or she should be one of the award recipients. 

The grant may be applied toward any wellness opportunity, such as a health
club, a family pool membership, scuba diving lessons or a retreat. 

Letter should be postmarked by Oct. 15, 2004 (by mail only) and sent to The
Ministers Council, P.O. Box 851, Valley Forge, PA 19482-0851. Because a
limited number of grants can be made, previous Clergy Wellness Grant
recipients are not eligible.  Recipients will be notified by letter in
December 2004.
