American Baptist News Service (Valley Forge, Pa. 6/7/04)--Holly Ning,
director of American Baptist Churches Information Systems, will leave that
position July 1 but continue to help to maintain and develop ABCIS as a
consultant for the Office of the General Secretary.

Ning joined the American Baptist Churches USA staff in January 2001 as
director of information technology. She has overseen the wide-ranging
expansion of ABCIS, which works with national and regional offices to
facilitate the daily operation of mission collection and distribution, as
well as providing donor, church and leadership tracking.

Previously she served as project manager and analyst for Ecount.com and
several other organizations. Prior to her work in the U.S. Ning worked in
China with Shanghai Population Information Center, where she conducted
research on that city's economic development and population trends.

The Rev. Dr. Cheryl H. Wade, treasurer and associate general secretary for
American Baptist Churches USA, commended Ning for her work in developing
ABCIS: "Holly has brought vision, organization, business knowledge and team
work to ABCIS.	I am delighted that she will continue with us as ABCIS
project manager as a consultant."
