Statement from the Jerusalem Inter-Church Committee

The Jerusalem Inter-Church Committee has issued the following statement
and asked that it be circulated as widely as possible:

"The Heads of Churches in Jerusalem met today at the Greek Orthodox
Patriarchate and expressed their concern at the recent bombing of
Christian Churches in Iraq. Whilst assuring the injured, bereaved and
communities of their prayers, the heads condemned all violence/damage to
places of worship be they churches, synagogues or mosques."
