Executive Council convenes; Statement to follow this afternoon

[Episcopal News Service] The Executive Council of the Episcopal Church
is
meeting today at the University of St. Mary's in Mundelein, Illinois.
The
focus of the meeting is response to the recent Communiqué from the
Anglican
Primates following the Windsor Report.

In its morning session, convened at 9:00 am after Eucharist, the Council
elected for its initial decision to be conducted as private
conversation.

The Council plans to continue its agenda with an open session in the
early
afternoon.

The Council also plans to issue a written statement at the conclusion of
the
meeting this afternoon.
