	St. Louis seminary to announce president-elect

	Thursday, May 12, at 9 a.m. Central Time, Concordia Seminary,
St. Louis, will announce the candidate chosen to receive the call to
serve as the seminary's 10th president. The public is invited to attend
this announcement, which will take place in the seminary's Werner
Auditorium.

	A short news conference will follow, and both the announcement
and news conference will be webcast from the seminary's Web site at
www.csl.edu/PresidentialAnnouncement.htm

provided free of charge in RealAudio format. (A test link is provided on
the webcast page so that visitors may be certain that their computer has
the necessary software installed to hear the announcement. If not, a
link is provided to a Web site where the necessary RealPlayer software
can be downloaded free of charge.)

	The candidates for president are Dr. Andrew H. Bartelt of St.
Louis; Dr. Dale A. Meyer of Collinsville, Ill.; and Dr. Jacob A.O. Preus
III of Irvine, Calif.
