ABCUSA: Henberg Named Interim President at Linfield College

American Baptist News Service (Valley Forge, Pa. 5/18/05)--Dr. Marvin C.
Henberg, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty at
American Baptist-related Linfield College in McMinnville, Oreg., has
been named interim president at that school.

Henberg will assume his new duties July 1, 2005, following the
retirement of Dr. Vivian A. Bull, who has served as president for the
past 13 years.

Henberg, who has been at Linfield since 1994, has been responsible for
all academic programs and the hiring of faculty. He helped found the
environmental studies program and regularly teaches courses in
philosophy and environmental studies.

Linfield, one of 16 undergraduate schools related to American Baptist
Churches USA through National Ministries, consistently has been ranked
among the nation's best liberal arts colleges by U.S. News and World
Reports and other media.
