³Women¹s Rights and Conflict Resolution² was the theme of a three-day
workshop organized by the JPHR, from December 9?11, 2005, in North Lebanon.
An ecumenical group of 25 participants, representing the different church
committees working
with family and youth addressed women's rights issues and conflicts arising
in all aspect of life. The workshop aimed at promoting position and attitude
changes among
different society actors toward the protection and defense of women¹s
rights. It also aimed at building skills in communication and dialogue, for
the elimination
of inherited stereotypes that block dialogue among family and community
