MECC Publications

The MECC/Studies and Research Program is happy to announce the publication
of the English version of its book (originally published in Arabic, with two
editions so far) on the history of Christianity and Christians in the Middle
East. ³Christianity, A History in the Middle East² is an illustrated book
of
930 pages, authored by a distinguished panel of 42 scholars most of them
from the Middle East region.

The book-jacket carries endorsements from Armenian Catholicos Aram I of
Cilicia, Archbishop Rowan Williams of Canterbury and Walter Cardinal
Kasper-President, Pontifical Council for the promotion of Christian Unity.

WCC/Publication and Documentation is the distributor of the book outside the
