VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS)-Members of the Executive Committee of the General Board of American Baptist Churches USA met with all staff at the Mission Center in Valley Forge on Friday, March 3, 2006. President Arlee Griffin, Jr. addressed those present with a positive, enthusiastic encouragement to "keep on". Griffin stated, "God's vision for American Baptists is not completed. God is calling this multicultural denomination to reflect what the world of tomorrow is to be." Following refreshments and reception, members of the Executive Committee toured the offices at the Mission Center to see where the work is done and to encourage the staff in their ministry. The Executive Committee continued its meetings through Saturday afternoon.
