Board of Pensions issues 'Personal Health Stewardship Challenge'

PHILADELPHIA - The Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is offering prizes to attendees at the upcoming General Assembly who maintain a healthy regimen of physical exercise, nutritious eating, adequate sleep and sufficient prayer.
Participants in the program - The Personal Health Stewardship Challenge - accumulate points using a self-managed scorecard. Successful finishers will be eligible for two Grand Prizes (all-terrain bicycles) and 20 Second Prizes (Board of Pensions gym bags with health books).
A Personal Health Stewardship "Kid's Challenge" will also be available for children in attendance, with prizes for all who participate.
"The Board wants to make this a healthy General Assembly for the body, mind and spirit," said BOP director of communications and public relations Jennifer Schoettle, "and information about the program is being distributed to all attendees."
The 217th General Assembly runs from June 15-22 in Birmingham, AL.
