VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 8/10/06)-Cheryl Wade, Associate General Secretary and OGS Treasurer, and Alan Musoke, OGS Assistant Treasurer, announced today the appointment of Harry Roesener to the position of Senior Accountant within the organization.
His main responsibilities will include manging the general ledgers for both OGS and the Associated Ministry Organizations (AMOs). Commenting on Roesener's appointment, Musoke said, "OGS is very fortunate to have someone of Harry's experience and knowledge on staff."
Roesener is returning to American Baptist Churches after having worked with the Board of Educational Ministries (BEM) for more than thirty-five years. He started there as a general ledger accountant and ended his career with BEM as Assistant Treasurer and Manager of Finance & Accounting in 2004. Prior to joining BEM, he worked as an accountant for a public accounting firm.
