The MECC School program in Egypt held a meeting in Cairo, form August 15-19 , 2006 to discuss the concept of the ³Welcoming School for All² with the directors of church-related schools, in the presence of Dr. Safwat Al Bayadi, one of the MECC Presidents. A number of academicians and University professors were also present. The meeting aimed at addressing the needs of students with learning difficulties, in church-related schools, taking into consideration the most appropriate educational methodologies for their integration. Stress was put on the importance of turning these schools into welcoming ones and providers of special care and education.The event proved to be successful and met its objectives.
