In 1932, Love Gift was developed as an important means by which American Baptist women stepped forward during a time of great financial need and met the challenge to help further the mission of American Baptist Churches USA. Today, Love Gift remains a treasured tradition of over and abovegiving by American Baptist women as part of their faithful commitment to Christ.
To Know, to Care, to Pray, to Give: New Ideas for Love Gift contains inspiring devotionals, prayers, poetry, skits, dedications, and many creative ideas for promoting, receiving, and celebrating Love Gift as part of our life of faith. Introduced for the first time at the Love Gift 75 th Anniversary celebration at the National Women's Conference in Green Lake, Wisconsin in July 2006, the resource was received with great excitement and stock at the conference sold out quickly.
