MECC Communication Department¹s Actions During War on Lebanon
The MECC Communication Department played an important role during the past 2 months by ensuring a wide coverage on the MECC Emergency Operation in the Lebanese daily press and audio-visual media, and by contributing to the daily updates on Lebanon shared with the MECC and ACT partners.
The Department regularly updated the MECC website with information on the situation created by the war, providing data and images showing the destruction and the impact of the Israeli war on Lebanon.
The Department made it a point to translate all messages of solidarity received from the ecumenical family and to disseminate them through the local, regional and international media, thus sharing them with the general public.
