DVD of Presiding Bishop's Investiture now available
[ENS] The historic investiture of the 26th Presiding Bishop, Katharine Jefferts Schori, on November 4, 2006, at Washington National Cathedral is now available on DVD and can be ordered from Episcopal Books and Resources (EBaR) at http://www.episcopalbookstore.org or by calling 800-903-5544.
The DVD, which runs approximately 150 minutes, includes a brief commentary at the beginning followed by the full investiture service.
The cost of the DVD is $26 each, which includes shipping and handling. A per-copy discount may apply for orders of multiple copies.
"The investiture DVD provides a wonderful opportunity for people to share in this historic occasion," said Michael Collins, director of multimedia and broadcast, who managed the production. "Although the service is still available for online streaming, the DVD has been re-mastered to ensure optimal viewing and will serve as an important memento of the day, both for those who were present at the service and for the thousands who were unable to attend."
