All Reporter stories available online
All stories that appear in the December issue of Reporter -- the Synod's national newspaper for professional church workers and congregational lay leaders -- are available online at http://reporter.lcms.org.
Those stories include reports about:
* new health and wellness programs for church workers,
* the latest LCMS Board of Directors meeting,
* stem-cell and cloning resources,
* upcoming "open house" events at the Synod's two seminaries,
* LCMS Youth Ministry "Servant Events," and
* a Lutheran trucker who's delivering a Christmas shipment of toys for Biloxi, Miss., residents who are still struggling after Hurricane Katrina.
Reporter Online has more news and full-color photos than the monthly print Reporter, and is The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod's most complete source of news related to the church body.
At this writing, Reporter Online carried a total of 47 stories in the categories of "Top News," "More News," "People," "Events," and "Resources," plus "Official Notices" (such as LCMS national convention information and positions available) and "Letters to the Editor." (See categories on the Web site's left-hand menu.)
New stories are posted to the site every week and "Top News" stories usually appear online first -- before the print Reporter is delivered to mailboxes and before LCMSNews dispatches arrive via e-mail.
Reporter Online stories are produced by the Synod's Board for Communication Services staff and may be copied and printed from the Web site free of charge.
The Web site also has an "Archive" of Reporter stories dating back to 2003.
