VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 12/22/06)-The new 2007 ABCUSA Planning Calendar has been revised and is now available online. Due to staffing changes, the calendar is getting out to constituents much later than anticipated this year.
Lorie Smith, executive assistant for Mission Resource Development, took on the project and got it back on track. "I don't think anyone realized just how much work the Office of Communication used to put into this project. We know how many people depend on this resource and are happy to get it out to them in time for the new year."
The Planning Calendar is a commemorative issue for the upcoming ABCUSA Centennial in 2007 and includes a directory of ABC Offices, Regional information and Baptist-specific special days. Each month also highlights a current or historical American Baptist.
