New York, NY - PASCHA (Easter) will be celebrated by all Christian traditions worldwide on April 8th, including over 250 million Orthodox Christians. Archbishop Demetrios of America, spiritual leader of over 1.5 million Greek Orthodox in America and Chairman of the Standing Conference of Canonical Orthodox Bishops, representing over 5 million Orthodox Christians in the Americas, will officiate at the Good Friday Service, April 6th, beginning at 8:00 p.m. and Resurrection Service, April 7th, beginning at 11:00 p.m. at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New York City (319 E.74th Street).
The Holy Wednesday, Holy Thursday evening, Good Friday Lamentations, Resurrection Service and Liturgy and Agape Sunday will be broadcast live from the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity on Television and the Internet.
