CPH offers free Web resources on 'responding to tragedy'
In the aftermath of the recent Virginia Tech shootings, Concordia Publishing House has made available on its Web site a number of Bible studies and resources designed for use after a tragedy.
All of the resources may be downloaded free of charge and reproduced as needed.
"The Puzzle of Pain: Where is God in Human Suffering?" is a one-session Bible study that may be used by congregations. It includes discussion questions and a leaders guide.
Also available online are:
* "Guns and Teens -- But I Need Protection!," and "Violence -- Living in the Age of Rage," Bible studies for youth that include separate student pages.
* the Bible study "When the Mountains Dance."
* an adult Bible study on school violence.
* resources on school violence for elementary school teachers.
