What's New at ajcwire

The recently launched AJC blog, ajcwire, features an insightful piece on Iran's role in fostering ties between Sunni and Shi'a terrorist organizations. "Iran has achieved a unique form of radical Sunni-Shi'a cooperation, a terrorist togetherness," writes Yehudit Barsky, AJC's terrorism expert. "Lebanon, known as Terror Central in the 1970s and 1980s, is today plagued with a different generation of terror organizations, largely funded by Tehran."  At the Jerusalem Post blog, David Harris writes about the meaning of Israel on the occasion of Israel?s 59th Birthday. "Israel's accomplishments are beyond my wildest imagination," especially given the fact that "no other country has faced such overwhelming odds against its very survival, or experienced the same degree of never-ending international vilification," writes Harris. The AJC Executive Director is a regular contributor to the JPost.com blog.
