On the 15th of April 2007 Bishop Suheil Salman Dawani was consecrated as new Bishop for the Episcopal church of Jerusalem and the Middle East. Many church leaders attended the ceremony and the MECC General Secretary congratulated the new Bishop and wished him success in his mission.
