SUNDAY SCHOOL PRE-REGISTRATION ENCOURAGED: The Department of Religious Education encourages parishes to hold pre-registration for the 2007-2008 Church school year. This will assist with planning, organizing, and ordering of materials. By ordering materials in June, classes can be prepared well in advance and teachers can review materials. Also, it avoids the last-minute rush and next day orders in September, which can add to the cost of materials. To download a copy of the Department of Religious Education Resource Catalog, visit the website www.religioused.goarch.org or to have one sent to you call the office 1-800-566-1088.

2007 YOUNG ADULT PILGRIMAGE: The Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries is pleased to announce the National Young Adult Pilgrimage to Florence, Ravenna, and Constantinople, November 2-10, 2007. His Grace Bishop Savas of Troas, the Chancellor of the Archdiocese, will once again lead the pilgrimage to sites of great historical importance and spiritual significance for all Orthodox Christians. Join other young adults from across the country on this unique journey! Additional information and registration materials are available online at

NEW GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE: The Paleologos Graduate Scholarship Fund has been established at the Archdiocese to assist graduate students in various fields. At least one award of $10,000 will be given annually. More information and application guidelines are available at
