Episcopal Life Daily December 31, 2007

Dear readers,

All of us at Episcopal Life Media wish you the very best for the coming new year. We thank you for your readership, support, and helpful feedback in 2007, especially surrounding the launch of the new Episcopal Life Online website.

Starting January 2, email subscribers will receive one consolidated "Episcopal Life Daily" release combining the two former DayBook (morning) and NewsLink (afternoon) postings. Scheduled for distribution mid-afternoon Eastern Time Monday-Friday, each Daily edition will lead with top stories from the Episcopal News Service and include additional features such as Diocesan Digest and World Report.

Coverage highlights during the January 2-4 Daily editions are set to include:

* Pakistan crisis draws comment from Church leaders * Anglican Primates to join pilgrimage to Holy Land * Louisiana, Southern Ohio dioceses mix football, mission * Central California congregations 'Remain Episcopal' in San Joaquin diocese * Church Center regional offices move ahead in Los Angeles, Omaha * January 6 Epiphany bulletin insert to post January 3...and more

Added thanks for our readers' understanding during ELM's Christmastide hiatus, during which the staff has also been reconfigured into reporting functions now based in London, New York and Los Angeles. The new approach provides for coverage posted to Episcopal Life Online in real time during a 16-hour window each business day.

London operations will include, among ongoing international updates, regular reports preceding and covering this summer's Lambeth Conference of the bishops of the Anglican Communion. The conference is held once every decade by invitation of the Archbishop of Canterbury.

A variety of in-depth reports is also scheduled for Episcopal Life's print editions, especially its monthly newspaper reaching some 250,000 homes. For subscription and advertising information, visit http://www.episcopalchurch.org/elife, or write to info@episcopalchurch.org.

Again, thank you for reading Episcopal Life, and best wishes to all for the new year.

Faithfully,

Your News Team at Episcopal Life Media
