Z Word, New Website on Anti-Zionism
AJC launched Z Word, www.z-word.com, an online journal dedicated to the debate over Zionism, anti-Zionism, anti-Semitism, and related issues. "Z Word responds to the recent surge in anti-Zionist rhetoric, demonizing Israel and stigmatizing Jews," said Ben Cohen, Z Word's editor, and associate director of AJC's department on anti-Semitism and extremism. Z Word content includes a variety of essays, blogs, podcasts and news. Limmud New York
Young AJC staff experts participated in the fourth annual Limmud New York conference, which focuses on Jewish learning. Ami Greener, AJC's energy expert, presented on energy security and Israel's environmental challenges; Stephanie Guiloff, assistant director of AJC's Latino and Latin America Institute discussed Jewish-Latino partnerships and Hispanic media; and Isra Yaghoubi, assistant director of AJC's Belfer Center for American Pluralism, explored Iran's Jews, Indian-Jewish and Latino-Jewish partnerships. It was the third year AJC addressed Limmud-New York.
