With the Kofi Annan-led political mediation process entering a critical period, churches within and outside Kenya take stock of the experiences during a month of unrest and violence that killed nearly 1,000 people and obliged over 300,000 to flee their homes.

Speakers:

The Rev. Dr Mvumelwano Hamilton Dandala,the general secretary of the All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) with headquarters in Nairobi.

Ms Agnes R.M. Abuom,a member of the WCC central committee from the Anglican Church of Kenya (Nairobi).

Ms Eden Grace,a member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) based in Kisumu, Kenya, one of the places where the worst violence took place.

Mr.Graham Gerald McGeoch, a member of the WCC central committee from theUnited Kingdom, was a member of an ecumenical international delegation which visited Kenya from 30 J anuary to 3 February 2008.
