ARCHBISHOP DEMETRIOS OF AMERICA TO

OFFER PRAYER AT DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION

New York, NY - At the invitation of the Democratic National Convention Committee, His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Primate of the Greek Orthodox Church in America, will offer the prayer of Invocation on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at 3:00 MDT.  The Convention is taking place in Denver, CO beginning August 25 and closing Thursday, August 28, 2008.

Archbishop Demetrios has also been invited to offer a prayer on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at the Republican National Convention which will take place in Minneapolis ? St. Paul, MN on September 1 ? 4, 2008.
