wfn.org | NEW ACT APPEAL FOR IRAQIS WILL BE LAUNCHED SOON IN SYRIA

A new MECC/ACT Appeal (MEIQ81) is launched in September 2008 in Syria to
assist Iraqi displaced and refugee people. The Appeal which was planned by
MECC offices in Syria will assist Iraqis in vocational training courses for
youth and adults, distribution of hygiene kits, and women health awareness
building. The Appeal will last for seven months period since the start of
its implementation and it will target more than 2000 Iraqi beneficiaries of
different categories and religious affiliations.
