ICNDR held its Central Committee meeting at the National Evangelical Church
of Lebanon on October 17. Present at the meeting were:  H.E. Metropolitan
Boulos Matar (MECC President), Archbishop George Saliba Rev. Dr. Habib Badr,
Mr. George Sayegh, Dr. Jean Salmanian, members of the Board, MECC General
Secretary and Finance Secretary; as well as the Director of ICNDR Mrs. Suad
Hajj.  Participants discussed the current development of ICNDR, listened to
the report and recommendations of the director in her meeting with partners
in Geneva, and studied the draft document of the Interim Statute. The Board
will meet again on October 31st for further discussions and preparations for
the ICNDR partners meeting, which will take place on November 21st.  For
