* Multi-religious panels covering topics such as disaster relief, women' s

leadership and partnerships for change, ecological sustainability and

* Youth  leaders  speaking  to topics such as the stolen generation,

traditional and contemporary values, media and identity, and sports.

* Films covering a range of subjects, from work by young directors, to

comedy that helps breakdown stereotypes, to reports from some of the

most troubled spots on earth where people of faith are making a world  of

>difference.

* Programs from environmental and social justice leaders working on loca l,

>national and international issues.

A Call for Programs: Bring your Voice to the 2009 Parliament
-Program Submission Deadline: February 28, 2009-
We invite you to submit a program proposal for the 2009 Parliament of the
World's Religions to be held December 3-9, 2009 in Melbourne, Australia. T he
largest interfaith event in the world, the Parliament will bring together
more than 8000 people of faith, spirit and goodwill from around the world.
Programs may include, but are not limited to, lectures, workshops, panel
discussions, films, and art exhibits. The deadline for proposal submission
is February 28, 2009.

Don’t  miss  out on this unique opportunity to be actively involve d in
promoting and strengthening interfaith dialogue and cooperation.
