Horizons, Presbyterians Today, Web team win in 2008
competition

LOUISVILLE ― Presbyterian communicators have won 12
DeRose-Hinkhouse awards in annual competition sponsored by
the Religion Communicators Council (RCC) [
www.religioncommunicators.org/ ], an interfaith
communicators organization founded in 1929.

The awards, for material published in 2008, will be
presented March 27 at a luncheon during RCC's annual
convention in Boston. The group gives Awards of Excellence
(the highest honor) and Certificates of Merit.

Horizons ― the magazine of Presbyterian Women ― led the way
with five awards, four of them Awards of Excellence.

Presbyterians Today and the Web Team of the General
Assembly Council's Communications and Funds Development
each won three awards. Presbyterian Disaster Assistance won
one award.

Nov./Dec. 2008 (Susan Jackson-Dowd, Ashley Meyer, Stephanie
