Adult education clinics, typ e institutes, libraries, children coaching centers orphanages, widows disab le persons, Tailoring centers.   

STRATEGY NO2 : THE BIBLE TRAIN ING CENTER FOR CHRIST Mt 28:19,20 Needles to mention that India still need  lot of young dedicated people to proclaim the Gospel away the dying souls t o bring them into the told of Christ. For this Real purpose of God. We very  badly felt a need of a Bible Training Centre where we can train the people  and send them out for the MINISTRY of God of Course, in the beginning we w ill not be able to start BTC three will be a short term-minor or for six mo nths and a short term- Major 6 months Bible +training altogether. After com pleting STM first semester there will be a gap of one year for practical du ring which time a candidate will get an ample scope to prepare himself for  STM second semester.   

STRATEGY NO3: THE EVANGELISM FOR CHRIST  Isa 52:7. 1) Personal Evangelism 2) mass Evangelism 3) Literature Evangelis m, 4) Film Evangelism 5) Fallow-up Evangelism the above mentioned five type s of Evangelism will of obviously be playing a vital role in winning the so uls for Christ in whatsoever conditions may be it will of cause continuousl y be dominating the entire strategies to maintain the discipline unity and  the integrity of GRACE MINISTRIES. However the ultimate goals of GRACE MINI STRIES into win the souls in Christ in India away 100 crores of population  there in only 22% Evangelical Christians.

ABC NETWORK TO AIR PASCHA: THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST

NEW YOR K ? GOTelecom, the television minnistry 
of the Greek Orthodox Archdio cese of America, 
will premiere Pascha: The Resurrection of Christ,  
a program highlighting Orthodox Christian Pascha, 
or Easter. Th e program, produced for ABC 
television network, and sponsored by FAIT H: An 
Endowment for Orthodoxy and Hellenism, is 
scheduled to ai r on ABC affiliates across the country in mid to late April.
???This i s a wonderful opportunity to portray our 
meaningful Holy Week and Res urrection Services to 
a nationwide audience,??? commented Nicholas J.  
Furris, Senior Producer and Director of 
GOTelecom. ???The prog ram, videotaped at the 
Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity dur ing 
Pascha last year, depicts our faith not only as 
beautiful a nd sacred, but also very 
relevant. GOTelecom is blessed to have the  
opportunity to provide ABC with this program.???
This one-hour s pecial will highlight Holy and 
Great Week focusing on the deeply movi ng and 
ancient services that recount the Gospel 
narrative leadi ng to the Death and Resurrection 
of Christ, including the Burial of C hrist and the 
Resurrection Service. The Service of Holy Friday 
 includes a procession with the embroidered 
tapestry of Christ in the  grave (the Epitaphios). 
The Resurrection Service on Saturday evening  at 
midnight, the liturgical apex of the Orthodox 
Church year, i s filled with awe-inspiring 
hymnology and rich visual symbolism. The  climax 
of the Resurrection Service is a procession to 
the exter ior of the Church, where, after 
proclaiming the Gospel of Resurrectio n, the 
faithful, led by Archbishop Demetrios of America, 
take u p the joyous hymn ???Christ is Risen!???
???Pascha: The Resurrection o f Christ??? has been 
coordinated with ABC by Marissa P. Costidis, 
 
Coordinator of the Department of Communications 
and Managing Direc tor of GOTelecom. The program 
was produced and directed by Mr. Furris . Mrs. 
Costidis and Mr. Furris have been working with 
the Natio nal Council of Churches in the USA 
(Communications Commission) and th e Interfaith 
Broadcasting Commission (IBC), through which 
Ameri ca's faith community provides television 
programming to the affiliate s of the three major 
broadcast TV networks each year. Previously, 
 
???Epiphany: A Festival of Lights??? was 
broadcast on NBC affiliat es nationwide and enjoyed tremendous success.
Each network distributes  IBC productions to all 
of its affiliates by satellite. Each local  
station may then choose to present the program in 
a time slot o f its choice over a span of several-weeks.

ARCHBISHOP DEMETRIOS AP POINTS Fr. APOSTOLOS KOUFALAKIS
AS DIRECTOR OF THE HELLENIC CULTURAL C ENTER

NEW YORK ? Archbishop Demetrios announced today 
the  appointment of the Very Reverend 
Archimandrite Apostolos Koufalakis,  the dean of 
St. Demetrios Cathedral of Astoria, as director 
of  the Hellenic Cultural Center of the Archdiocese in Astoria, NY.

 On the occasion of this appointment His Eminence 
stated: ???We are ce rtain that Fr. Apostolos, 
with the help of God will fulfill diligentl y 
these new responsibilities, which are added to 
his duties as  dean of the St. Demetrios Cathedral 
in Astoria. The Hellenic Cultural  Center of the 
Archdiocese in Astoria has a long history of 
ser vice to the Omogeneia and serious potential 
for further development a nd Fr. Apostolos??? 
contribution can be fruitful, both spiritually an d culturally.

The Hellenic Cultural Center was established in  
1986 with the purpose to cultivate the rich 
Orthodox and Hellen ic heritage and culture. It 
has a theater of 200 seats, the chapel of  St. 
Kosmas the Aitolos, a bookstore, a reception and 
exhibitio n area, offices and other supportive 
spaces. Throughout the year it o ffers theatrical, 
musical and dance productions, as well as exhibits  and lectures.

Fr. Apostolos (Evangelos) Koufalakis was born in  
Rhodes, Greece where he completed his primary 
education and the n continued studies in the 
Ecclesiastical School of Patmos. In 1993 h e was 
tonsured a monk and took the name Apostolos. In 
the same  year he was ordained a deacon and in 
1996 a presbyter by Metropolitan  Apostolos of 
Rhodes. He is a Theology graduate of the 
Aristote lian University of Thessaloniki. In 2002 
he came to the United States  to further his 
studies and in 2004 he received his Masters 
deg ree in Sacred Theology from Boston University, 
School of Theology. Wh ile in the Boston area he 
served in the Massachusetts parishes of 
 
Annunciation of Brockton, St. George of 
Southbridge and Saints Ana rgyroi of Marlborough. 
Since 2004 he serves as the dean of the St.  
Demetrios Cathedral in Astoria, N.Y.

SUDAN: Interfaith consultation explores deeper engagemen t between
Christians and Muslims

[Episcopal News Service] T he Episcopal Church of the Sudan's (ECS)
Commission for Interfaith and  Ecumenical Relations held its first
consultation February 23-27 in Ju ba to address the goal "that Sudanese
communities of different faiths  understand, respect and live in
harmony (co-existence) with each other ," said a report from the Rt.
Rev. Michael Jackson, bishop of the Chur ch of Ireland's Diocese of
Clogher, who attended the meeting.

opinion that a worship service on the Intern et isn't the same as
attending a "real" church. This month, Episcopal  Life presents two

"face-to-fa ce" worship experience with the virtual.

[Sermons That Work] One driver sticks post-it notes all  over the
dashboard of her car to make sure she remembers each errand.  Kitchen
calendars fill up with family appointments. Many cell phones  now
include calendars so their owners can have instant access to
 appointments that are too numerous to remember.

Chronic stress a ccompanies an increasing number of Americans who feel
busy beyond meas ure. It's a common problem for the current generation,
even among the  retired. People are so overwhelmed that one of the
greatest luxuries o f the twenty-first century is free time.

Busy-ness intrudes on a ll of us because we have so many opportunities.
And because we want ev erything -- and more. We have become slaves to
what we desire, not wha t we need. We have become possessed by our
activities -- our getting a nd spending and doing. Isn't that part of
the malady that infects us d uring this difficult economic period?
Living beyond our means? Materia lism and greed? No boundaries to keep
us in check?

Papst betont Bedeutung des Petrus-Dienstes -

Nu ntius in der Schweiz fordert umfassendes Papstvertrauen

Rom/Ital ien, 11.03.2009/APD Papst Benedikt XVI. hat aus Anlass des Festes
der  "Kathedra Petri" ("Petri Stuhlfeier") die Bedeutung des Dienstes des
P etrus-Nachfolgers betont. Die "Kathedra Petri" (der Bischofsstuhl des
 Petrus) symbolisiere die Autoritaet des Bischofs von Rom, der im Hinblick 
auf "das ganze Volk Gottes" einen besonderen Dienst zu leisten habe,  sagte
der Papst am 22. Februar beim Angelusgebet auf dem Petersplatz.  

Das Fest "Petri Stuhlfeier" wird in der katholischen Kirche sei t dem 6.
Jahrhundert zur Erinnerung an die Errichtung der Bischofsstue hle zu Rom und
Antiochien durch den Apostel Petrus gefeiert.

 
Schon in der fruehesten Christenheit sei der Kirche von Rom die Rolle de s
Primats zuerkannt worden. Dieser "einzigartige und besondere Dienst"  des
Bischofs von Rom sei vom Zweiten Vatikanischen Konzil unterstrich en worden.
Benedikt XVI. zitierte die Konzilserklaerung "Lumen gentium ": "Es gibt auch
in der kirchlichen Gemeinschaft zu Recht Teilkirchen,  die sich eigener
Ueberlieferungen erfreuen, unbeschadet des Primats d es Stuhles Petri, der
der gesamten Gemeinschaft vorsteht, die rechtmae ssigen Verschiedenheiten
schuetzt und zugleich darueber wacht, dass di e Besonderheiten der Einheit
nicht nur nicht schaden, sondern ihr viel mehr dienen".

Benedikt XVI. bat die Katholiken, ihn durch ihr Ge bet zu unterstuetzen,
damit er seine Aufgabe als Petrus-Nachfolger tre u erfuellen koenne. Christus
habe den Apostel Petrus "als den Felsen e rwaehlt, auf dem er seine Kirche
aufbauen wollte". Dieses universale A postelamt wirke in seinen Nachfolgern
fort.

Auf Deutsch rie f der Papst zum Gebet dafuer auf, "dass Verwirrung und
Stuerme die Kir che nicht erschuettern und wir am unverfaelschten Glauben
festhalten,  in der Einheit bleiben und in Liebe miteinander leben".

Nach roe misch-katholischer Lehre ist der Papst Bischof von Rom und
Nachfolger  des Apostels Petrus, Stellvertreter Christi, Leiter der
Gesamtkirche,  Haupt des Bischofskollegiums, und Hirte der gesamten
sichtbaren Kirche .

Paepstlicher Vertreter in der Schweiz fordert "umfassendes" Pa pst-Vertrauen

Der Apostolische Nuntius in der Schweiz, Erzbischo f Francesco Canalini, hat
besorgt auf eine Demonstration von "Reformka tholiken" in Luzern reagiert. In
einem ungewoehnlichen Schritt veroeff entlichte Canalini am 9. Maerz eine
Erklaerung: Es widerspreche dem ro emisch-katholischen Geist, wenn sich
innerhalb der Kirche Gruppen bild eten, die mit oeffentlichem Druck "ihre
Auslegung verschiedener Inhalt e der Lehre und der kirchlichen Disziplin
durchsetzen wollen". 
 
Die Erklaerung des Erzbischofs schloss mit der Forderung: "In der
 
gegenwaertigen Lage ist es mehr denn je angebracht, dass die Glaeubigen  der
katholischen Kirche dem Heiligen Vater ihr umfassendes Vertrauen b ekunden,
fuer ihn beten (Apg 12,15) und in Gemeinschaft mit dem Nachfo lger des
Apostels Petrus leben. Ihm hat unser Herr Jesus Christus die  Leitung seiner
Kirche auf Erden anvertraut (Mt 16,17-19)."

 Der Nuntius ist einerseits regulaerer diplomatischer Vertreter
(Botsch after), der den Vatikan als souveraener Staat bei der Schweiz
vertritt . Zum anderen hat er als Vertreter des Papstes gegenueber der
Ortskirc he die Aufgabe, das einvernehmen zwischen Teilkirche und der
Gesamtkir che zu gewaehrleisten. Er haelt den Papst ueber die Lage der
katholisc hen Kirche in der Schweiz (Ortskirche) sowie ueber die Vorgaenge im
La nde (Staat), insbesondere ueber aktuelle Konflikte, auf dem Laufenden.

B onn/Deutschland, 09.03.2009/APD Der in Bonn ansaessige Verlag fuer die
 
Deutsche Wirtschaft AG schreibt 2009 zum 10. Mal den "Predigtpreis" sowi e
erstmals einen Sonderpreis fuer die beste Rundfunk- oder Fernsehpred igt aus.

Bis zum 30. Juni 2009 koennen Predigten von haupt- und  ehrenamtlichen
Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern aus Kirchen, Freikirc hen und
Landeskirchlichen Gemeinschaften eingesandt werden, die innerh alb der
letzten zwei Jahre gehalten wurden. Die Auszeichnung wird wied er in den
Kategorien "Lebenswerk" sowie "Beste Predigt 2009" verliehen . In der
Kategorie "Beste Predigt" sind auch Predigten und Andachten a usserhalb der
Perikopenordnung und der Texte im Kirchenjahr willkommen . Zusaetzlich
vergibt die Jury in diesem Jahr einen Sonderpreis in der  Kategorie "Beste
Predigt im Fernsehen, Rundfunk und Internet". Erwart et werden Predigten, die
die biblische Botschaft einer medialen Oeffen tlichkeit verkuenden und einem
Publikum vermitteln, das auch ueber die  im engeren Sinne kirchlich
sozialisierten Kreise hinausgeht. 
 
Mit dem 2000 erstmals vergebenen Predigtpreis will der Verlag fuer di e
Deutsche Wirtschaft AG die Redekunst in den Kirchen foerdern. Ausgez eichnet
wurden bislang u.a. der Kabarettist Hanns Dieter Huesch (Koeln ), der
Erfurter katholische Bischof Dr. Joachim Wanke, der Rhetorik-Pr ofessor
Walter Jens (Tuebingen), Schwester Isa Vermehren RSCJ (Bonn),  der Theologe
Dr. Joerg Zink (Stuttgart), der Schweizer Pfarrer Kurt Ma rti, der Professor
fuer Systematische Theologie Dr. Eberhard Juengel ( Tuebingen), der
Pastoraltheologe und Homiletiker Prof. Dr. Rolf Zerfas s, der Waldenser Prof.
Dr. Paolo Ricca (Rom) die hannoversche Landesbi schoefin Margot Kaessmann,
der katholische Religionspaedagoge Dr. Thom as Meurer (Muenster), der
mennonitische Pfarrer Dr. Fernando Enns (Ham burg), Pfr. i.R. Hans Uwe
Huellweg (Muenster), Pfarrerin Sylvia Bukows ki (Wuppertal), der
Dominikaner-Frater Manuel Merten (Walberberg), der  methodistische Theologe
Michael Putzke (Kassel) und die katholische D iplom-Theologin Vera Krause
(Aachen). 

Die zwoelfkoepfige o ekumenisch besetzte Jury umfasst Theologinnen und
Theologen sowie Publ izisten. Sie steht unter dem Vorsitz von Oberkirchenrat
Udo Hahn (Hann over), Medien- und Publizistik-Referent der Evangelischen
Kirche in De utschland (EKD). Der Jury gehoeren ferner an: Pfarrerin Dorothee
Loehr  (Mannheim), Pfarrer Dietrich Hackler (Bonn), Abteilungsleiter aeltere
 
Menschen im Bundesministerium fuer Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend, 
Prof. Dr. Reinhard Schmidt-Rost (Bonn), Lehrstuhlinhaber fuer Praktis che
Theologie, Dr. Juergen Werbick (Muenster), Professor fuer
Fun damentaltheologie, Pastor Wolfgang Thielmann (Bonn), Leiter des Ressorts
 
"Christ und Welt/Evangelische Kirche" der Wochenzeitung "Rheinischer
 
Merkur", Pfarrer Dr. Matthias Schreiber (Duesseldorf), Beauftragter fuer  die

Die Preisverleihung findet am Buss- und Bettag,  den 18. November 2009 in der
Bonner Schlosskirche (Universitaetskirch e) statt. Die nicht dotierte
Auszeichnung besteht aus einer Bronzeplak ette und einer Bibel.

Mit Fernsehprogrammen Mut un d Hoffnung vermitteln

Channel Deutsch' moechte mit seinen B eitraegen Menschen, die nach
Orientierung suchen, Mut und Hoffnung ver mitteln", sagte Pastor Matthias
Mueller, Geschaeftsfuehrer des Medienz entrums "Stimme der Hoffnung", eine
Einrichtung der Freikirche der Sie benten-Tags-Adventisten, beim Festakt zum
Sendestart am 6. Maerz. Die  Programme von "Hope Channel Deutsch" werden in
den Studios des Medienz entrums in Alsbach-Haehnlein produziert und sind seit
dem 7. Maerz ueb er den Satelliten ASTRA und das Internet rund um die Uhr, 24
Stunden a n sieben Tagen der Woche, zu empfangen. Die dafuer notwendige
Sendeliz enz hatte "Die Stimme der Hoffnung" bereits am 13. Januar 2009
erhalte n.

Als die Adventisten 1948 in einem Keller im zerstoerten Berli n mit der
Aufnahme von Radiosendungen begannen, haetten sie bewusst ih r Programm
"Stimme der Hoffnung" genannt. "Wir haben diesen Namen beib ehalten", betonte
Mueller. Nach dem Krieg sei es darum gegangen, aus d en Truemmern wieder
etwas aufzubauen, heute haetten viele Menschen Sor ge, dass durch die
Wirtschaftskrise alles in Truemmer zerfaellt. "Hoff nung ist daher immer noch
eine aktuelle Botschaft." Bereits 1948 haett en die Radiohoerer auch einen
Bibelfernkurs absolvieren koennen. Heute  versende das Internationale
Bibelstudien-Institut des Medienzentrums  laut Mueller rund 20.000
Bibelstudien-Briefe jaehrlich. "Das Interesse  macht deutlich, dass Menschen
Lebensfragen haben und Antworten finden ."

Die Siebenten-Tags-Adventisten haetten bereits 1950 in den US A das
Fernsehprogramm "Faith for Today" (Glauben fuer heute) ausgestra hlt. Das
Medienzentrum ?Stimme der Hoffnung? habe 1996 erstmals Fernse hen live
gesendet. Nach Pastor Mueller "waren die Adventisten ab und z u ihrer Zeit
weit voraus". Seit 110 Jahren trete die Freikirche dafuer  ein, nicht zu
rauchen. Inzwischen werde der Nichtraucherschutz auch v om Staat ernst
genommen. Deshalb wuerden Gesundheitssendungen zum Prog ramm von "Hope
Channel Deutsch" gehoeren. Schon vor 150 Jahren haetten  Adventisten vor
Umweltkatastrophen gewarnt, und seit 160 Jahren beton ten sie die
Verantwortung des Menschen gegenueber der Schoepfung. "Da  Leben Freude
machen soll, haben wir auch eine Verantwortung fuer unser e Umwelt", gab
Mueller zu bedenken. Natur und Schoepfung gehoerten dah er ebenfalls zum
Programminhalt des neuen Fernsehkanals. Au?erdem setz te sich die Freikirche
seit ihrer Gruendung im 19. Jahrhundert fuer di e Religionsfreiheit ein. "Die
Achtung der Ueberzeugung anderer gehoert  daher zu unserem Programm", betonte
Mueller.

Stefan Fraunb erger, Technischer Leiter des Medienzentrums "Stimme der
Hoffnung", er innerte daran, dass die ersten Fernsehproduktionen in einer
Garage ent standen. Als diese zu eng wurde, sei das Schwimmbad einer zum
Abbruch  bestimmten alten Villa als "Fernsehstudio" genutzt worden. "Danach
gin g es in den ersten Stock einer Lagerhalle. Dort war es im Sommer sehr
 hei? und im Winter eiskalt." Erst das im Maerz 2007 eingeweihte neue
M edienzentrum in Alsbach-Haehnlein habe die Zeit der provisorischen Studios 
beendet.

Der Chefredakteur von "Hope Channel Radio", Chris tian Vogel, wies darauf
hin, dass die 1948 gegruendete "Stimme der Hof fnung" der "aelteste private
christliche Rundfunkanbieter in Deutschla nd" sei. Adventistische
Radiosendungen habe es aber schon 1929 in den  USA mit dem Evangelisten
Harold Marshall Sylvester Richards gegeben. Z unaechst haette die "Stimme der
Hoffnung" ueber Radio Luxemburg Progra mme ausgestrahlt. "1971 gab es die
ersten Kurzwellensendungen ueber Ra dio Transeuropa (Sines/Portugal) und 1990
ueber Radio Moskau. Aber das  waren keine eigenen Sender", betonte Vogel.
Erst 2008 mit dem Erhalt  einer eigenen Rundfunklizenz habe eine neue AEra
begonnen. Seit 1. Sep tember letzten Jahres sei "Hope Channel Radio" 24
Stunden taeglich ueb er den Satelliten ASTRA und als Internet-Radio unter
www.hopechannel.d e zu hoeren. "Ein taegliches 24-Stunden-Programm ist schon
eine gro?e  Herausforderung", vor der jetzt auch "Hope Channel Deutsch" mit
seinem  Fernsehsender stehe. "Ermutigend ist jedoch die positive
Hoererresona nz", stellte Vogel fest.

Professor Wolfgang Thaenert, Direktor d er Hessischen Landesanstalt fuer
privaten Rundfunk und neue Medien (LP R Hessen), wies in seinem Gru?wort
darauf hin, dass seine Behoerde led iglich Lizenzen vergebe, die es jedoch
mit Inhalten zu fuellen gelte.  "Hoffnung" sei dabei ein gutes Geleitwort.
"Glaube, Liebe, Hoffnung, d ie drei goettlichen Tugenden, gehoeren untrennbar
zusammen." Der Glaub e sei das Gefae?, aus dem die Hoffnung Kraft schoepfe.
Wenn das der Zi elgruppe von "Hope Channel Deutsch" vermittelt werden koenne,
dann wae re es ein Gewinn fuer Zuschauer und Produzenten.

"2003 begann de r Aufbau des weltweiten Fernsehnetzes 'Hope Channel'", teilte
Pastor B rad Thorp (Silver Spring, Maryland/USA), Praesident von "Hope
Channel  International" mit. Mit dem Sendestart in Alsbach-Haehnlein wuerden
nu n Programme ueber neun Kanaele bei sieben Satelliten weltweit angeboten.
 
"Damit kann jedes Land der Erde erreicht werden." Thorp wuenschte "Hope 
Channel Deutsch", die Moeglichkeit zu nutzen, ganz praktisch zu vermi tteln,
was Hoffnung bedeute. Seine Ehefrau Kandus, Vizepraesidentin fu er
Programmentwicklung beim "Hope Channel International", machte Mut,  sich den
Herausforderungen eines taeglichen 24-Stunden-Progamms zu ste llen.

Der Festakt mit dem Motto "Hoffnung" wurde live aus dem gr o?en Fernsehstudio
des Medienzentrums ueber den neuen Fernsehkanal (Ke nnung: ASTRA [19,2 Grad
Ost], Frequenz: 12,148 GHz horizontal [Transpo nder 87], Symbolrate: 27.500,
FEC:3/4) ausgestrahlt. Die "Stimme der H offnung" sendet auch weiterhin zehn
Stunden woechentlich Fernsehprogra mme bei "Hope Channel Europa" ueber den
Satelliten Eutelsat/Hotbird un d jeden Samstag von 16 bis 16.30 Uhr bei
rheinmaintv. Das TV- und Radi oprogramm kann im Internet bei
www.hopechannel.de/tv/programmheft ange fordert und auch heruntergeladen
werden.
