	PBS to air special documentary about Jerusalem

"Jerusalem: Center of the World"

'The epic history of the world's most contested piece of real estate'

PBS is debuting a special production -- "Jerusalem: Center of the World"
-- a documentary about the city's founding; its rich history; and the
convergence of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.  Emmy Award-winning
producer/director Andrew Goldberg explores places seldom seen by
visitors and together with renowned historians and scholars digs deep
into Jerusalem's past.  Hosted by Ray Suarez, senior correspondent of
PBS' "The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer," this two-hour documentary will be
broadcast nationwide Wednesday, April 1, at 9 p.m. EDT.  Show times may
vary by city, so be sure to check your local listings.
