LOS ANGELES: Walls of 'Gordon's House' go up on Westminster site

>By Janet Kawamoto

[Episcopal News Service, Los Angeles] The walls of "Gordon's House"
began to come together on August 10 as volunteer workers from the
Diocese of Los Angeles and Habitat for Humanity Orange County (HfHOC)
took the next step in building a home begun as part of the youth
program at General Convention.

The structure is named in honor of the late Rev. Canon Gordon Yeaton,
priest of the Diocese of Los Angeles, teacher in Orange County
Schools, longtime activist for youth, family and community issues, and
member of the board of HfHOC. Yeaton died in 2007.

from Church Publishing, Inc., by Hilarie and James Cornwell, 160
pages, paperback, c. 2009, $20

[Church Publishing, Inc.] This thoroughly updated and comprehensive
