Obama, faith leaders to discuss health care reform

including The Episcopal Church -- believe that somewhere in the
shadows behind the voices condemning President Barack Obama's
administration and other backers of affordable health care reform
lurks a silent majority of Christians who support reforming the
nation's healthcare system.

Episcopal Life Weekly bulletin inserts for August 23, titled "Who
would Jesus tweet?" outline The Episcopal Church's presence on the

[Episcopal News Service] In a solemn ceremony, representatives of the
Nisga'a indigenous nation in Canada presented Bishop Mark MacDonald
with chief status and a Nisga'a name, Kalwilimlhkwhl Laxha, meaning
"Heavenly Servant."
