We invite you to apply for media accreditation to the
forthcoming meeting of the Council of the Lutheran World
Federation (LWF) to be held near Geneva:

The theme for this yearâ??s meeting is â??Upholding Human Dignity:
Confronting Human Trafficking.â?? The Federation of Evangelical
Lutheran Churches in Switzerland and the Principality of
Liechtenstein will host the Council meeting.

A special highlight will be the election of a new LWF General
Secretary. The election is scheduled for Thursday afternoon, 22
October, following the Report of the Search Committee. The
reportâ??s presentation as well as the election will take place
in closed session.

Invitation letter. Please complete the attached media
