>Written by Lydia Ma

PCT is pleased to announce that its Kaohsiung Mission Center is currently in
the

last phases of construction. The center will house an international conference

center, PCT General Assembly offices, Kaohsiung Presbytery and Shou-Shan

>Presbytery offices, and student dormitories.

There are currently 5 floors set aside as student dormitories and finishing

touches on these floors will be completed by April 29. The center has begun

accepting student lodging applications. The building’s office areas will likely

>completed by end of June.

PCT General Assembly leaders say they are extremely grateful to Kuo Pei-hong,

CEO of Hong-Sheng Constructions and deacon of Hai-Pu Presbyterian Church,

for his help in overseeing the completion of the building because the process

was smooth and efficient. PCT also thanked Kuo for donating NT$5 million

>toward student dormitories.

According to Kaohsiung Mission Center building committee leader Rev. Kho

Sing-doh, student dormitories will occupy floors 6-10 of the new building and

there will be 90 bedrooms in total. Each of these floors will have a lounge
that will

>be used to hold small group meetings.

The purpose for building student dormitories is to support student and youth

ministries in Kaohsiung. Small group meetings will be held on each floor at
least

once every two weeks. Students who rent rooms at the center must attend these

>meetings.
